Relations & Sex Dreams Meaning

You must have woken up confused and even slightly agitated. You are not the only one having a sexual dream, and the main character of that dream is you.

Sexual dreams are a natural part of our lives. It is relatively safe to say that we have all experienced some of these dreams more often than others. It is normal to have sexual intercourse with someone other than your spouse.

We all want to know the meaning of our dreams, especially when they confuse us.

The content of the dream often has to do with what is happening in your waking life. So if your day is full of stress and anxiety, it may end with an uncomfortable sleep. But if things are going well and you feel content, the dream you have may change.

Dr Janet Brito, a psychologist and sex therapist, explains that dreams are a way of revealing what is invisible to you.

These dreams act as an inner guidance system that gives you information about life and reveals symbolic images to pique your curiosity.

Brito says that symbols and images in a dream have to do with feelings, desires, or something you are trying to resolve.
